PAY RATE: Salary will be Negotiable Depending on Experience and Education (Starting at 45,000 per year)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  This position reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs.  Duties will include automating and simplifying tasks, processes, and workflows by designing, building, and maintaining custom software applications, reports, database and system interfaces. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicants will need a broad knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and programming. Applicants will need the ability to gather and interpret information as well as have a creative approach to problem-solving and ability to write comprehensive technical and user documentation. Applicants will need to solve problems; automate and improve business processes; develop and maintain applications and reports; Integrate systems and write data exchange scripts, and programs; Aid in the implementation of new legislation that directly affects Property Appraiser forms, reports, computations, and database and software systems.  Provide end user application support and troubleshoot issues; Analyze data and communicate results to end users; Perform complex data queries and batch updates that users are unable to perform themselves; Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately; Assist with computer troubleshooting, networking issues, servers, server backup, and hardware and software issues when needed.
 

EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE:  Applicants must have education or training equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer science or programming, information technology, or a closely related field and 3 years or more of related work experience using Oracle databases, PL/SQL, SQL, HTML, and XML. Experience with Oracle Reports, .NET, PHP, Python, JavaScript, HTML5, and IIS will be considered a plus.
